About the Project

ISODO3D were a new startup business selling 3D printers, accessories and other related products. They came to us as they wanted to differentiate themselves from other competition within the 3D printing market. We created a mobile responsive website for ISODO3D which combined a fresh, modern brand with a cutting-edge web experience.

Strategy

The main aim for ISODO3D was to have an inspiring website for people interested in 3D printing, that would effectively drive sales and enquiries from the target markets. As a new startup, it was vital that the website stood out from others in the industry, while acting as a ‘go to’ place for people wanting news and information about 3D printing.

Design

As a new startup, ISODO3D required help with their initial branding. We created a fun and vibrant brand, easily recognisable through the bright orange and blue colours, which provided the foundations for a seamless design throughout the desktop site, mobile site and email templates. What’s more, the site offered a rich, interactive user experience that effectively educated and excited users. Finally, in order to maximise conversion rates, the design incorporated a clear, easy-to-use navigation with good calls to action that effectively funnels enquiries through the site.

Development

This site was built on top of our LumaCommerce base to produce a website with dynamic features and an intuitive user journey through the site. One of the main features was the incorporation of a live chat which integrated with Google apps, allowing ISODO3D to quickly respond to client’s enquiries using the G Talk chat feature. Additionally, we included a quick enquiry form on every page and a shopping basket feature to allow users to simply navigate through the conversion process and optimise sales and enquiries for 3D printers.

Digital Marketing

As part of the launch of ISODO3D’s website, we set up an initial email campaign allowing them to ‘introduce themselves’ to the industry. We also worked with them to craft a successful social media strategy with a focus on Twitter.

Conclusion

ISODO3D were pleased with the website, branding and email templates which were delivered on time and on budget. Their launch to the industry was successful, and they have already had a significant number of enquiries through the website.
